Fase mid‑century modern style lamp from France, made of brass and wood, in good used condition and in working order, 70 cm high with a 42 cm square base, dating to 1970–1980.
Description from the seller
It is a lamp from the second half of the 20th century that fits squarely into that recognizable line of Spanish design associated with Fase, even if it bears no visible signature: generous proportions, an almost architectural presence, and that balance between metal, wood and volume that made the brand a reference. Here, the original brass lampshade with a silvered finish provides a cold, elegant shine, with that slightly industrial nuance that recalls the finishes of late Art Deco, reinterpreted from the modern sensibility of the seventies.
With its 70 cm height, it is not a discreet lamp: it is a large, monumental piece, designed to dominate a console, a sideboard or an occasional table. The base combines polished metal and dark wood in a play of contrasts that reinforces its sculptural character, while the cylindrical shade softens the ensemble and makes it more domestic, warmer, without losing sophistication. It is the kind of lamp that not only illuminates, but defines an atmosphere.
Its aesthetic blends straight lines, noble materials and a retro air that today feels tremendously current. A perfect piece for someone seeking an object with personality, history and presence.
Tracked shipping and careful packaging.
