Technics SL-7 turntable from 1981, in very good physical condition and tested and operational, serial number DA0K04H047, weighing 6.6 kg, with no extra items included.
Description from the seller
Technics SL-7 collectible turntable, single owner, completely original.
Fully automatic turntable for vinyl records, with a width and depth of 31.5 cm.
The tonearm uses a dynamically balanced linear tracking system to ensure high reading accuracy, regardless of installation angle.
Additionally, tracking performance is further improved by using an anti-deflection angle detection function via an optical sensor near the tip, microcomputer control, a gimbal-suspension support structure, a sliding bearing design, etc.
It is a fully automatic turntable that starts playback simply by placing a record and pressing the start button.
Excellent rotational performance is guaranteed by the use of a unique integrated DD drive system and a 360° FG sensing system for the drive section.
The top of the cabinet is made of precision die-cast aluminum, while the bottom is zinc die-cast with a TNRC base and anti-vibration system.
Type: full automatic DD playback system
Features:
- Auto-arm advance command button
- Auto-arm retract command button
- End/stop button
- Repeat button
- Rotation speed selector button (33 1/3, Auto, 45)
- Lever to confirm arm travel position
- Upper housing lock lever
- Stabilizer with stroboscopic light
Power: 100 V AC, 50/60 Hz, 12 V DC
Power consumption: 16W
External dimensions:
Width 315 x Height 88 x Depth 315 mm
Weight: 6.6 kg
Cartridge EPC-P202C
The cartridge is equipped with EPC-P202C, an MM cartridge with a plug-in connector.
Thanks to the use of a pure boron cantilever and a magnet circuit with a fully laminated core for extremely low attenuation, wide-band frequency characteristics are achieved.
The cartridge is almost new, used very little.
Type: MM plug-in cartridge connector
Method: Single-point suspension system
Cantilever: Pure boron tube cantilever
Magnetic circuit: Fully laminated core
Magnet: Samarium-Cobalt (Sm-Co)
Characteristic frequency: 10 Hz to 50 kHz
From 20 Hz to 35 kHz ± 3 dB
From 20 Hz to 10 kHz ± 1 dB
Output voltage: 2.5 mV (1 kHz, 5 cm/s, from zero to peak, horizontal velocity)
3.5 mV (1 kHz, 5 cm/s, from zero to peak, at 45°)
Channel separation: 22 dB or higher (1 kHz)
Channel balance: 1.8 dB or less (1 kHz)
Recommended load impedance: 47 kΩ ~ 100 kΩ
Compliance: 12×10⁻⁶ cm/dyne (100 Hz)
Stylus pressure range: 1.25 ± 0.25 g
Effective mass of the generator: 0.29 mg
