New and never worn. A beautiful piece to wear.
Emerald is a color variety ranging from dark green to light green of the silicate mineral beryl with chemical formula Al2Be3[Si6O18]. The color of emerald, which varies from dark bluish-green to light yellow-green, is caused by small impurities of chromium ions (Cr3+) and vanadium (V3+).
Like the crystal of pure beryl mineral, emerald also crystallizes in the hexagonal crystal system and predominantly forms hexagonal, prismatic to columnar crystals, with a vitreous luster on the surface. Its Mohs hardness, from 7.5 to 8, is similar to that of beryl.
