In auction: original unpublished color test illustration, for a board game on William the Conqueror; acrylics on 250 g cardboard, signed, A4 format 21x29.7 cm, author Fabrizio Russo. Dedication available.
Fabrizio Russo
Born in Milan on August 14, 1970. After finishing art high school, he specialized as an illustrator at the Scuola Superiore d’Arte of Castello Sforzesco.
In 1991, he attended the Scuola del Fumetto in Milan, taking lessons from Enea Riboldi, through which he gained a certain familiarity with comic techniques.
After some sporadic experiences in illustration, in 1994 he joined Bonelli, making his debut on Zona X. For this publication he graphically developed the character Robinson Hart, created by Mignacco, and drew seven episodes, until the series ended. After working on Martin Mystère he became part of the Dampyr drawing team.
Since 2010 he has collaborated with the French publishing house Clair De Lune. And subsequently with the French publishing house Petit à Petit.
In 2012 he joined the Zagor staff, and since 2017 he has illustrated 3 Tex stories.
In 2021 he began a collaboration with the French publisher Plain vent, publishing 3 books: "La storia di Carlo Acutis", "Le Carmelitane di Compiegne" and "Comtat Venaissin".
