Diax Diax II Analogue camera

For sale is a beautiful and rare German rangefinder camera, the Diax II, manufactured by Walter Voss in Ulm/Donau between 1954 and 1957. This camera is an excellent example of the highly precise German postwar fine mechanics.
The body is equipped with the high-quality and sharp Schneider-Kreuznach Xenar 45mm f/2.8 lens (serial number 2916273, approx. 1951/52). The model is characterized by the large, distinctive rapid-advance knob on the top.
Condition:
Cosmetic: Very good optical condition with only minimal, age-related signs of wear (see photos). The body and the original leatherette are wonderfully intact.
Mechanical: The shutter fires. The viewfinder is age-appropriate clean and the rangefinder shows a response. The aperture blades are absolutely clean and can be easily adjusted (see rear view).
Accessories: Including the original brown Diax leather ready case (with strap) and the original Diax lens cap.
