The Hermès Moustiers line was produced in the 1980s and 1990s
in collaboration with the faïence workshops of
Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, Provence — one of the historic centres
of French earthenware production. The Toucan motif, with its
vivid tropical birds among lush foliage and characteristic
yellow-and-green border, is among the most sought-after patterns
in this line. Each piece is individually hand-painted, resulting
in subtle variations that reflect the artisanal character of the
production.

Provenance: Acquired in the 1990s at Hermès Frankfurt am Main.

Condition: Very good overall. The milk jug has minor glaze
chipping at the spout — visible in photos. All other pieces
without damage.
