This kind of piece was commonly used as a high-end decorative object or as a curiosity in old cabinets.

Ancient piece from a private collection.
Sale in compliance with CITES regulations: this coral is an antique piece, acquired before 2010 and does not come from a recent harvesting.

Offered by DTD Shop Design Trend Dazzle, boutique specializing in curious, rare and precious objects.

In coral reefs, white coral plays a crucial role by providing a vital habitat for many marine species. Small fish find secure shelter among its folds and crevices, while invertebrates cling to its surfaces to protect themselves from predators. This interconnectedness between different forms of underwater life creates an ecological balance essential to the health of reefs.

Beyond its ecological importance, white coral enchants divers and snorkeling enthusiasts with its striking beauty. When illuminated by sunlight, its shades of white seem to glow with a light of their own, illuminating the seabed and creating breathtaking underwater landscapes. Its immaculate appearance contrasts beautifully with the vivid colors of other corals and tropical fish, creating a scene of great visual richness.
