Black & white ceramic figurine in the shape of a penguin, designed by Lillemor Mannerheim for Arabia in 1984 as part of the WWF animal series. The figurine is marked on the bottom with “Lillemor, Arabia Finland” and the “WWF” logo (see photos).

Condition:
The figurine has one small ‘bump’ on the side of the face where the black glaze runs over it. The grey line at the front is the mold seam from the mold used to form the figurine. This seam is also visible on the black back (see photos). Otherwise the figurine is intact.

Zwart & wit keramisch beeldje in de vorm van een pinguïn, ontworpen door Lillemor Mannerheim voor Arabia in 1984 als onderdeel van de WWF dieren serie. Het beeldje is gemerkt aan de onderkant met “Lillemor, Arabia Finland” en het “WWF” logo (zie foto’s).

Conditie:
Het beeldje heeft één klein ‘bultje’ aan de zijkant van het gezicht waar het zwarte glazuur overheen zit. De grijze lijn aan de voorkant is de gietnaad van de mal waarmee het beeldje gevormd is. Deze gietnaad is ook zichtbaar bij de zwarte achterkant (zie foto’s). Verder is het beeldje gaaf.
