We present an exclusive GOM rug from India, a genuine collectible piece, 100% handmade, dating approximately from 1950–1960, crafted with the highest quality materials and exceptional execution.
This elegant rug has been woven with fine kork wool (premium cork wool) and delicate silk details on a cotton base, offering a soft, satiny touch, in addition to an extremely compact, heavy, and durable structure.
The rug features approximately 360,000 knots per square meter (6x6 knots), a characteristic typical of high-quality GOM carpets produced following the traditional Oriental craftsmanship. (Catawiki)
