The handles in solid silver feature magnificent craftsmanship in a classical engraving style (Louis XVI / Empire) with a finely guilloché central pattern and stylized scroll motifs at the ends.

Characteristics & Hallmarks:
Origin: Germany (German Empire)
Official hallmarks: Presence of the crescent moon (silver symbol) and the imperial crown (Reichskrone), together with the purity mark 800 (800/1000) and the master goldsmith's mark.
Design: Silver-filled handles, blades and functional parts in steel to ensure the robustness and edge of the period.
