Description from the seller
1956/1957 Crypton AUTOVISOR engine test bench, perfectly suited for classic cars (supplied by Saarloos/Rotterdam)
Portable quality testing device (Crypton Somerset) with 3 clocks and accessories (all cables are there, see photo)
Portable Crypton engine tester, about 60 years old, but very useful for all sorts of classics.
Voltage/current control, engine vacuum/ fuel supply pressure and speed/amp draw control can be performed using the provided accessories (see photos). See the control panel with, among other things, spark plug tester / regulator, ignition control for 2-, 4-, 6- and 8-cylinder engines.
The main advantage of this compact engine tester (dimensions 35 cm wide / 22 cm high and 22 cm deep) is that it is portable and can be used anywhere (no need for 220 V!). A must for classic enthusiasts who have both a duck (2 cylinders), a Beetle (4 cylinders), a BMW 6-cylinder and a classic Ferrari 8-cylinder. The unit has not been tested, but the good/good condition, undamaged clocks and complete accessories give confidence that everything works. If a part becomes defective, repair is always simple (and inexpensive), as only a single part needs replacing. The engine tester is an asset for your garage - in addition to your classic car - or for practical use by you or your friends.
Pickup is preferred, in Brussels, Jette.
Note, see photo, a glass panel is missing on the voltmeter.
