Grebo
Wood
Height: 670mm
Width: 250mm
Depth: 105mm
Grebo masks were spread to Paris very early. They notably drew the attention of Picasso, who owned a collection of African masks and who drew inspiration from a Grebo mask, purchased around 1908, to create in 1912 his famous work Guitar, the first Cubist sculpture.
Male masks with geometric shapes are often recognizable by their long nose framed by one or more pairs of tubular protruding eyes, sometimes with a threatening look. The features of feminine masks are softer, more harmonious and more serene.
Fast and secure shipping with tracking number. Packages are sent from Monday to Saturday. Delivery in 1 to 3 days in France with Chronopost, 2 to 5 days across Europe. Worldwide delivery with Colissimo International.
