Carving set (2) Empire - Count's Crown

Carving set with ebony-wood handle, solid silver ferrule, blade and fork in cast steel. The handles are inlaid with a solid silver crest, engraved with a Comital crown. Empire style from the Restoration era, around 1840.

One of the ferrules bears a maker's mark (faint) and the Boar hallmark.

This is a very classic model that easily coordinates with any cutlery collection.

The set is in very good condition.
