Carver C-3 Preamplifier with Sonic Holography technology.
Carver TFM-6C power amplifier, known for its compactness and delivering about 65 watts per channel into 8 Ohms. Both devices are separate components designed to work together in a high-fidelity stereo system.
Main Technical Features
Output RMS Power: 65 Watts per channel into 8 Ohms (with both channels driven, from 20 Hz to 20 kHz).
Power at 4 Ohms: Increases to 100 Watts per channel RMS.
Dynamic Power: Up to 160 Watts into demanding 2 Ohm loads.
Design and Controls: Front panel features independent level controls for the right and left channels (Level L / R) and the two pairs of speaker selectors (Speakers A / B).
Headroom Exhausted indicator: This LED lights up when the amplifier exhausts its clean power reserve and approaches the saturation threshold.
Very few signs of contact wear on the chassis, as they have been exposed to light.
