Description from the seller

Rare vase from Val Saint Lambert, Belgium. Cut crystal in emerald green. This stunning vase is a masterpiece of Belgian craftsmanship, with a vibrant, rare emerald-green exterior over a clear, high-quality core of lead crystal. The deep, rich green hue (in real life even more brilliant than in the photos) is beautifully contrasted by precise geometric cut facets that create a dazzling play of light.

Design & Details:
Style is "Mid-Century Modern" with strong Art Deco influences.
Most pieces in this style were designed for VSL by Head Designer Charles Graffart.

The technique:
Hand-cut crystal with a faceted rim and a radiant, star-shaped foot for extra elegance. The vase is made with the renowned 'cut-to-clear' (cut) technique. This involves blowing a layer of colored crystal (in this case a rich emerald green or émeraude) over a base of clear crystal. The craftsman then grinds through the colored top layer to reveal the clear geometric patterns. This creates the characteristic contrast and the high light reflection the factory is world-famous for. Please note that the vivid, saturated "emerald-green" tones of the crystal in real life are much deeper and brighter than can be captured in digital photos.

Condition: Excellent, pristine condition, virtually no signs of aging or wear. Photos are part of the description.

Dimensions and weight:
Height 17.5 cm / 6.89 inches
Diameter 13 cm / 5.12 inches
Weight: 1535 grams (solid, thick crystal)

The vase is carefully packaged and shipped via registered mail with track & trace to ensure safe arrival.
