Description from the seller

Buffalo Horns

Wonderful pair of Buffalo Horns, in excellent condition, prepared by skilled hands and placed on two fine wooden pedestals to emphasize their importance and beauty. They probably date back to the Italian colonial era, more likely to the first half of the 20th century, a date inferred from the type of screws used to fix the horns to the pedestal: that kind of screw was used up until the 1950s, so the work was probably done earlier.

The horns are in excellent condition, with small signs of wear, almost insignificant, while the age of the items becomes more evident in the details of the base; a simple restoration would be possible, but in our opinion it would diminish the charms of antiquity and lived history.

They will become a beautiful collectible object in a home with a unique character.

Maximum dimensions: 90x27x21 cm approximately
Horn Length: about 740 mm
Horn Diameter: about 110 mm
Wooden base diameter: about 19 cm
Material: Horn
Origin: Italy/African colonial Italy
Era: presumably 1950s
Craft: handmade
Condition: good overall condition with small signs of age on the base visible in the photo; the horns are in excellent condition.

The photos are part of the description; please view carefully.
Shipping with trackable package.
Being unique collectible objects, the packaging is made with extreme care and tailored to each individual piece to ensure integrity during transport until delivery.
