Elegant Space Age pendant produced by the Dutch manufacturer Herda in the 1970s. The lamp consists of an outer hemispherical shade in smoked gray acrylic, open at the bottom, and an inner diffuser made of stacked aluminum discs that reflect and diffuse light in a very characteristic way. The upper fitting is in brushed aluminum; the black spiral cord is original. The play between the smoked transparency of the acrylic and the inner metal reflector creates a light effect that is both soft and sculptural, typical of Dutch design of that era. E27 base.
