Mid-century brass Baroque Rococo wall lamp with ram's head and glass rose shades.

Very decorative and characteristic two-light wall lamp in the classical Baroque and Rococo revival style, produced in the mid-20th century (circa 1950–1960). The backplate is made of heavy, solid cast brass and features a beautifully detailed, expressive head of a ram with graceful curled horns and lush beard details. From the rear, two gracefully curved arms spring forth. The lamp is equipped with two rare and very elegant shade globes made of high-quality opal glass, fully formed in the design of a blooming rose. The matte glass provides a warm, diffused and highly atmospheric light.
