Roman Republic - AR Denarius, Q. Cassius Longinus (55 BC)Description:Silver denarius (AR Denarius) issued in the Roman Republic (Rome mint) in 55 BC under the moneyer Q. Cassius Longinus.

Obverse: Bust of Genius Populi Romani with a sceptre over his shoulder.Reverse: Eagle standing on a thunderbolt, flanked by a lituus (left) and a capis (right). Clear inscription Q•CASSIVS in the exergue

Specifications: Silver, weight 3.64 g, references Crawford 428/3, Sydenham 916 .

Condition: VF (Very Fine), well-defined details, strong relief, authentic historical patina, and a typical hand-struck alignment.
