The tulip vase has a striking history and has remained a beloved decorative piece in the Netherlands through the ages.

Whether with tulips or without tulips, the tulip vase is used as a showpiece.

In the 17th century, the (ceramic) tulip vases from Delft appeared and were decorated with Delft blue or Chinese patterns. Tulip vases were copied in China and imported by the Dutch East India Company.

This particular piece has 8 tiers and 23 openings.

The tulip vase is in good condition. 
No damage or restorations.

De tulpenvaas heeft een opvallende geschiedenis en is door de eeuwen heen een geliefd decoratiestuk gebleven in Nederland. 

Zowel met tulpen als zonder tulpen wordt de tulpenvaas als pronkstuk gebruikt. 

In de 17e eeuw kwamen de (keramische) tulpenvazen uit Delft en waren met een Delfts blauw of Chinees decor versierd. Tulpenvazen zijn in China nagemaakt en door de Verenigde Oost-Indische compagnie geïmporteerd.

Dit bijzonder exemplaar heeft 8 etages en 23 openingen. 

De tulpenveld verkeert in goede staat. 
Geen beschadigingen of restauraties.
