This traditional African mask is most likely known among the Shi or Lega or neighboring groups such as Kumu-Nyanga. This wooden mask was purchased in 1978 at a charity exhibition of "The White Fathers" held in Rotterdam. In this condition, thanks to a gas treatment, the mask has remained reasonably good. Dimensions: 280 mm high, 190 mm wide and 120 mm deep; net weight 588 grams. Well packed and shipped with Post NL.
