Ritual mask as described in the book by Julien Volper 2014, teeth have been restored.
Name of the mask Mukinka, Salampasu, each member of the society had several masks (See Elisabeth Cameron 1984)
Several were on display at the Museum of Central Africa in Tervuren
First photographs taken in the 1950s, Maes et al. were offered for sale locally until the 1980s; after that, many poor copies were brought onto the market.
