History: One of the earliest official registrations of the Cinzano name, dating back to 1568, is kept in the parish archives of the town Pecetto Torinese (in this regard, toward the end of the 19th century an area along the road between Pecetto and Chieri was called Cinzano. The Cinzano were already then specialized in cultivating fruit trees and vines and produced rosolio, a liqueur derived from the rose petals, often used as a base for other liqueurs, wines and elixirs, with beneficial properties.

I Cinzano erano già allora specializzati in colture di alberi da frutto e vite e producevano rosolio, un liquore derivato dal petalo della rosa, usato spesso come base per altri liquori, vini ed elisir, con proprietà benefiche.
