Car part (1) - Swiss clock - 1920-1930

It is a small mechanical watch made in Switzerland, presumably intended for use on a desk, while traveling, or for mounting on the dashboard. The movement is housed in a cylindrical case of base metal, framed by a polished brass bezel. The white dial shows black Roman numerals as hour markers and an outer railway-style minute track with diamond-shaped markers at five-minute intervals. At the 3 o'clock position there is a subsidiary seconds dial with Arabic numerals. The watch features black spade-shaped hands. Access to the movement is via a winding crown and a setting button; the regulation arm is freely accessible. The regulator plate bears the stamp “SWISS MADE” and is marked with the letters S and F for regulation.
