This product is a German Westerwald jug of salt-glazed stoneware with a tin lid, probably a Merkelbach & Wick stamp 619/16. This collectible item is known as a jug with a lid and is a classic depiction of German breweriana and beer culture. This item, made in Germany, shows traditional craftsmanship and is a unique addition to any collection of drinkware or vintage beer memorabilia. Probably a design by Merkelbach & Wick from the period 1880-1910. On the inside of the lid you can see a small crack where it was attached. Otherwise in good condition. Height-Length-Width: 33-20-16 cm.

Dit product is een Duitse Westerwald-pul van zoutgeglazuurde steengoed met een tinnen deksel, waarschijnlijk een Merkelbach & Wick-stempel 619/16. Dit verzamelstuk staat bekend als een jug met deksel en is een klassieke weergave van de Duitse breweriana en biercultuur. Dit item, gemaakt in Duitsland, toont traditioneel vakmanschap en is een unieke aanvulling op elke verzameling drinkgerei of vintage biermemorabilia. Waarschijnlijk een  ontwerp van Merkelbach & Wick uit de periode 1880-1910. Aan de binnen kant van de deksel kan je een scheurtje zien van de bevestiging. Verder in goede conditie.
