- ZEHNFINGER Black is a very personal furniture concept by designer Daniel Heilig. He was inspired by his passion for sneakers, fascination with the Triple Black Colorway, as well as designer Yohji Yamamoto and his legendary, playfully rebellious approach to elegant, deep-dark, all-black beauty.
ZEHNFINGER combines originality, modern minimalism, and sculptural furniture design. Slim rounded arches, elegant proportions, and symmetrical balance give the stool an aura of relaxed nobility. The color scheme and vertical lines of the cabinet, finger columns, oak grain, and high padding radiate meditative clarity. As a design solitaire, ZEHNFINGER brings the aesthetics of classical architecture into sophisticated interiors.
Inspired by the iconic arch configurations of the Obidos Aqueduct in Portugal, the stool architecture of ZEHNFINGER unexpectedly reinterprets monumental column-building. In the finely crafted solid-wood casing, two arches rhythmically contrast with two closed sides. Depending on the angle of light, column shadows wander through the room. firmly anchored in the body, the comfortable, hand-sewn fabric upholstery sits. Quality in detail and timeless design make the ZEHNFINGER stool a beloved companion for life.
