Bid now on this beautiful piece of history: a tusk from the extinct woolly mammoth (Mammuthus primigenius). This specific specimen is extra special because of its unique provenance from the North Sea.

Origin: Recovered from the seabed of the North Sea, Netherlands
Condition: The conserved object is in a beautifully restored state.
Weight: 5800 grams
Dimensions: 116 cm measured along the outer curve. 100 cm measured along the outer curve. Thickest circumference approx. 26 cm.
Condition and conservation:
Mammoth tusks recovered from the North Sea have lain on the seabed for thousands of years. This specimen shows a nice patina with a smooth texture.
