Gino Colombini (Milan 1915-2011) trained as a mechanical draftsman, he worked as a draftsman in Franco Albini's studio for ten years, then in the Camus and Palanti studio. From 1953 he joined Kartell, where he was appointed director of the Technical Office. Compasso d’Oro in 1955, 1957, 1959 and 1960 with Kartell.
