Details of the Table:
Top: Characterized by a splendid walnut veneer laid out in a radial pattern (or in wedges), creating a geometric play of natural grain and flames with a striking visual impact.
Structure: The top is supported by a massive and prominent central pillar carefully turned and fluted, which rests on four solid saber-shaped feet.
Underside: The internal structure and the visible reinforcements, when flipping the table, reveal artisanal workmanship from the era in rough solid wood.
Details of the 6 Chairs:
Backrest: Features the characteristic wavy line of the style, enriched in the center with a refined motif of a double entwined ring (love knot).
Legs: The front legs faithfully reproduce the turning and fluting of the table’s pillar, ensuring perfect visual coherence of the set.
Seats: Upholstered and covered in a more recent period with a jacquard fabric featuring floral motifs. The fabric is clean, intact, and in good overall condition; the seats maintain good stability and structural solidity.
Condition:
The set is in excellent overall condition, with a beautiful glossy patina on the wood. It shows the normal and slight signs of time that attest to its history, without macroscopic structural defects or missing parts.
