Monograph of the French painter Georges Sécan in an imposing, large format. In-folio bound in faux leather with gold titles; an unsigned 16-page essay titled The Universality of Sécan; 34 plates protected by tissue paper — of which 27 are full-page — totaling 46 works by the artist. Copy No. 41 of 100 ad personam, numbered and signed by the author with a dedication and a marker drawing. Additional dedication to the flyleaf signed G. Sècan 1971. The illustrated dust jacket is worn with tears repaired with adhesive tape; the cover shows signs of wear at the margins; interior in excellent condition.
