Splendid ornamental wooden model of the famous caravelle "Santa Maria", the flagship of Christopher Columbus on his historic voyage of 1492. It is a vintage handcrafted piece (roughly from the 1950s/1960s), perfect as a collectible item or as an elegant decorative accessory for offices, living rooms or nautically styled taverns. Materials: Entirely made of wood, with sails in coarse canvas fabric of wide weave, hand-painted finishes and carefully crafted details (decorative shields on the sides, stern lantern and crow's nest).
