Description from the seller

A large and heavy round platter (1.3 kg) in silvered metal from the CHRISTOFLE house, a French silversmith and tableware company founded in Paris in 1830 by Charles Christofle and known for having introduced electroplating gilding and electroplating silvering in France in 1842.
The company was acquired in 2012 by one of its shareholders, the Chalhoub family luxury group.
The Christofle maison calls upon the traditional techniques of the precious crafts of tournage-repoussage, planishing, chasing, and engraving that are upheld by its Master Goldsmiths and Meilleurs Ouvriers de France.

This piece is a serving platter for an elegant and signed table. Sleek Art Deco style.
