Beautiful piece of furniture from the early 60s.
Light ebony-like wood with a darker wood species.

The cabinet has stood in the attic for years, and could use a good wax polish; also, at some point a streak of paint ended up on the cabinet that I haven't removed.

When opened, it offers plenty of storage.
