Up for auction: original unpublished color illustration of Tex Willer, watercolor on cardboard, signed, 33x24 cm, by Fabrizio Russo.

Fabrizio Russo
Born in Milan on August 14, 1970. After art high school, he specialized as an illustrator at the Scuola Superiore d’Arte del Castello Sforzesco.
In 1991, he attends the Scuola del Fumetto di Milano, taking lessons from Enea Riboldi, through which he gains familiarity with comic techniques.
After some sporadic experiences in illustration, in 1994 he arrives at Bonelli, debuting on the pages of Zona X. For this publication he graphically creates the character Robinson Hart, conceived by Mignacco, and draws seven episodes until the series ends. After working on Martin Mystère, he joined the Dampyr drawing team.
Since 2010 he has collaborated with the French publishing house Clair De Lune. And subsequently with the French publishing house Petit à Petit.
In 2012 he joined the Zagor staff, and from 2017 he has illustrating 3 Tex stories.
In 2021 he began a collaboration with the French publisher Plain Vent, publishing 3 books: "The Story of Carlo Acutis", "The Carmelites of Compiègne" and "Comtat Venaissin".
