Artist's book by Jeanloup Sieff, one of the most important French photographers of the 20th century. The book was published in 1982 by the renowned Contrejour Verlag and ranks among the photographer's most important publications.
What is shown are elegant portraits of women, melancholic landscapes, famous nude photographs as well as intimate moments from Sieff's photographic universe. His characteristic visual language – strong contrasts, dramatic perspectives and the masterful use of wide-angle lenses – shapes the entire volume.

Condition of the book: The cover and the binding show clear signs of wear. The individual pages have a slight browning at the outer edge (see photos). The photographs depicted are, however, in very good condition.
