Description from the seller
Iconic Veranda sofa designed by Vico Magistretti for Cassina in 1983.
This model is one of Magistretti’s most recognizable seating designs and reflects the relaxed, architectural language of Italian design during the 1980s. The sofa features the characteristic adjustable backrests and folding arm sections, allowing different seating positions and creating the sculptural silhouette for which the Veranda became known.
Executed in a warm red/orange upholstery with black metal frame.
A strong example of late modern / postmodern Italian design, combining comfort with a highly graphic appearance.
Condition: good vintage condition with signs of age and use consistent with period. Please study photographs carefully as they form part of the description.
