Genuine historical vintage predecessors (approx. 1950s to 1980s): If you own an optically almost identical red-gold model that appears clearly older, it is usually one of the historical predecessor series from Eschenbach of the last century. Popular lines in the exact same “Parisian style” (red with gold or brass appliqués) were called at the time “Manon” or “La Scala.” These were mass-produced in post-war Germany up into the 1980s in West Germany (“Made in W. Germany”).

Here is a model in excellent condition!
Gilt brass! Bakelite or plastic – red and black. Optical glass. No scratches or fungal marks – excellent magnification and visibility!
