Description from the seller

Pair of Vintage Single-Serve Drip Coffee Makers - Orfèvrerie Mills Bruxelles & Durobor Glass (2) - Silver-plated

An exceptional and highly collectible pair of vintage individual manual drip coffee makers (single-serve pour-over system). This modular set reflects mid-20th-century European table coffee service, commonly used in upscale hotels and traditional Belgian cafés before electric espresso machines became standard.

Each coffee maker is complete with all its original 5 parts, which is extremely rare since the internal components are often lost over time.

- Metalwork: Crafted by the renowned Belgian silversmith "Orfèvrerie Mills" in Brussels (active mid-20th century).
- Hallmarks: Each piece is individually stamped with the maker's mark "MILLS BRUXELLES" along with technical quality silver-plating numbers ("45" on the main body and "90" on the lids) guaranteeing high-durability industrial silver plating.
- Patent Mark: Stamped "BREVETE" (Patented) on the interior of the lids.
- Glass Inserts: Removable heat-resistant tempered glass liners manufactured by the famous Belgian glassware company "Durobor".

Complete 5-Piece Assembly (Per Unit):
1. Silver-plated outer cup holder with handle
2. Original Durobor glass liner
3. Silver-plated upper brewing/filter chamber with a perforated base
4. Original internal perforated distributor/press disc with central handle
5. Silver-plated lid with decorative stylized handle

Condition:
Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or deep scratches. The glass inserts are pristine. The silver-plated metal parts show a beautiful, authentic golden-brown aged patina due to natural oxidation over the decades. It can easily be polished to a mirror-shine finish using standard silver cleaner if desired by the buyer. All parts fit together perfectly.

- Quantity: 2 complete coffee makers (10 pieces total)
- Origin: Belgium
- Period: Circa 1940s - 1960s
- Materials: High-grade silver-plated metal, tempered glass

Dimensions : 13.5 cm × 11 cm × 9 cm

The product will be professionally packed and sent safely to your address by local post.
The pictures of the product are made with the highest possible resolution, precisely to capture possible small defects (small scratches, stains, defect), the pictures are part of the product description.
