Artistic details:
These sculptures represent the excellence of Italian decorative silverware from the 1990s. The tigers are depicted in a crouched, ready-to-pounce pose, with finely chased anatomical details that highlight taut musculature, the stripes of the coat, and the fierce, menacing expression of the animal.
The mastery of Elisei and Sorgoni is evident in the anatomical precision, the dynamism of the pose, and the attention to detail: every paw, every stripe, every muscle has been studied and sculpted with meticulous care. The silvery finish lends elegance and brightness, with play of light that enhances the volumes and details of the sculpture.
These tigers belong to the first generation of Linea Argenti productions (1995-2005), when founders Alvaro Elisei and Deborah Sorgoni were defining the style that would make the Marche-based company famous worldwide. They represent a piece of high-end Italian craftsmanship history. FROM A PRIVATE COLLECTION
