Vintage Technical Drawing Instrument Set by Birk Precision - Complete & Cased
Beautiful and remarkably complete vintage drafting instrument set by the renowned manufacturer Birk Precision.
Made in Germany during the mid-20th century (circa 1950s/1960s), this professional-grade technical drawing kit reflects the pinnacle of traditional analog engineering and architectural precision. The set is housed in its original, durable dark gray/brown zippered case featuring the embossed "Birk Precision" logo on the exterior. The interior is lined with a rich, vintage purple velvet velvet insert that neatly holds every individual tool in place.
The set includes:Large universal technical compasses with adjustable knee-joints. A classic precision drop-bow compass (spring-bow) for drawing micro-circles. Traditional ruling pens with black handles for drafting with Indian ink.Various interchangeable extension bars, pen attachments, and needle points. Original metal lead holder container with spare leads/points.
Condition:The instruments are in excellent vintage condition, showing very minimal signs of age or wear. The metal surfaces are clean, free of heavy tarnishing, and all adjustment screws and joints move smoothly. The zippered case opens and closes perfectly, and the purple velvet interior remains vibrant and intact with no missing pieces.
