Description from the seller
SAE 3000+ SAE 220
Pre-amplifier + Power Amplifier
At the beginning of the 70s, if you were looking for the ultimate in transistor amplification, SAE was the benchmark brand.
The model presented is the SAE 3000 + SAE 220 preamplifier / power amplifier set, from the 1978 range. It is the export model designed for Europe and compatible with a 220/240-volt supply.
The SAE 3000 Preamplifier
True to the philosophy that the cleaner the signal, the better, the SAE 3000 is a rack-mounted model with advanced controls for an exceptionally pure sound. Its technical specifications are such that it is hard to believe it dates from the 70s.
The SAE 220 Power Amplifier
This minimalist but high-performance amplifier is the sibling of the SAE 2200, exactly the same amplifier but without the LED VU meters.
The build quality is exceptional: no plastic components. The cooling fins and the chassis testify to a robust design suited to high loads and powerful outputs.
Their presentation and performance will delight the most demanding audiophiles.
