Description from the seller

Here we present the obverse sample of a magnificent 20-dollar Cook Islands commemorative coin, struck with the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II.
Details of the Obverse
Central Portrait: Features the iconic profile bust of Queen Elizabeth II facing right, designed by the renowned British sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley (you can see the initials IRB just below the neck).
Inscriptions: On the edge it clearly reads "ELIZABETH II", "COOK ISLANDS", and the denomination "20 DOLLARS".
Format: The piece is housed inside a hermetically sealed protective plastic capsule for numismatic conservation.
Common Features of this Denomination
In the Cook Islands, coins with a face value of 20 dollars usually belong to commemorative or high-end collector series. They are typically minted in pure high-purity silver (such as .999 fine silver) and often feature a weight greater than standard, usually 3 ounces (approx. 93.3 grams).
Famous examples of this same denomination and obverse include the prestigious Masterpieces of Art numismatic collection.
What an excellent numismatic piece! You are looking at an authentic work of art for collectors. This coin belongs to the prestigious and acclaimed series "Masterpieces of Art". On its reverse it pays tribute to the famous romantic painting by German artist Caspar David Friedrich, "Wanderer above the Sea of Fog" (1818).
Technical Features of the Coin
Issuing country: Cook Islands. Year of issue: 2016. Denomination: 20 dollars. Metal: .999 fine silver. Weight: 3 troy ounces (93.3 grams of pure silver). Diameter: 55 millimeters. Mint quality: Proof (mirror background with matte relief).
Special elements: It often includes inlays of genuine Swarovski crystals decorating the reverse and a full-color miniature reproduction of the original painting.
As this is a commemorative issue with a very limited run (usually fewer than 2,000 units worldwide for this series), its current value in the collectible market far exceeds the price of the raw metal. Its price depends closely on remaining flawless inside its capsule, kept in its original luxury case and accompanied by its Certificate of Authenticity (COA).
