Two-piece porcelain coffee cup and saucer from France, dating to the 19th century (circa 1800–1850), finely polychrome and gilt, with a pair of playing putti on the cup and a saucer decorated with musical instrument triumphs and floral motifs, and an inscribed 1818 on the bottom of the plate; overall condition used with probable small missing pieces.

Description of the work
Cup complete with coordinated saucer in fine porcelain.
The cup, characterized by a smooth body and an elegant gold-adorned profile, is provided with a side handle, partially gilded in gold, which enhances its refined Rococo-inspired shape. The saucer features the same gold decoration on a smooth border.
The pictorial arrangement presents two playing putti on the body of the cup. The bottom of the saucer is embellished with triumphs of musical instruments and flowers in polychrome, executed with remarkable freshness and attention to detail.
On the bottom of the plate there appears a broad inscription (to be translated) with the date 1818.
