Beautiful commode from the Louis XVI-Directoire period in mottled ebony veneer, with ebony filet, brass inlays. With fluted uprights, it opens by 3 large drawers, the first with compartments for shirts, resting on spool feet. It is topped with a white marble insert set within a brass gallery pierced with a diamond lattice pattern. Late 18th century, circa 1790–1800.

Belle commode  d'époque Louis XVI Directoire en plaquage d'acajou moucheté, filet d'ébène, incrustrations de laiton. A montants cannelés, elle ouvre par 3 grands tiroirs, le premier à séparations pour les chemises, repose sur des pieds toupie. Elle est coiffée d'un marbre blanc enchâssé dans une galerie de laiton repercée à motifs de treillage en losanges. Fin XVIIIe siècle, vers 1790-1800.
