Rare double-sided enameled sign from Japan for the bicycle brand "アイデー印自転車" (Aide-jirushi jitensha), featuring the central "I.D." trademark in a gracefully red stylized logo surrounded by gear motifs. The text 安くて丈夫い means "cheap and sturdy," a telling advertising lure for a bicycle shop from that era. The sign is finished in dark blue with white and red text, including "TRADE MARK" in English, indicating an internationally oriented manufacturer. Both sides are printed identically, indicating that the sign was originally mounted on a post or bracket so it could be seen from two sides. The sign is equipped with mounting holes at the top.

The sign shows authentic signs of use and aging, including enamel chipping along the edges, which enhances its vintage look. A particularly rare piece of Japanese bicycle and advertising history from the Showa period.
