Description from the seller
Early 20th Century – Copper, Brass & Wood Industrial Antique
An authentic French high-pressure hand sprayer manufactured by Muratori Paris, dating from the early 20th century, most likely between the 1920s and 1940s. This remarkable piece represents the golden age of French agricultural and horticultural craftsmanship, when copper and brass equipment was produced to extremely high standards for professional vineyard, garden and disinfection use.
Constructed entirely from copper with solid brass fittings and featuring its original turned wooden pump handle, this “Pulvérisateur Muratori” is both a functional historical object and a striking decorative industrial collectible.
The front still retains its original paper label:
“Pulvérisateur Muratori – A Hte Pression – Paris” and the embossed brass instruction plate marked:
“Pulvérisateur Système Muratori Paris – Breveté S.G.D.G.”
The mention “Breveté S.G.D.G.” (“Sans Garantie Du Gouvernement”) is typical of French patented industrial objects produced before the 1960s and is an important indicator of authenticity and period manufacture.
