Set of 2 Thonet Style Bentwood Chairs – Elongated Back – Mid 20th Century – Cane Seats

Elegant set of two bentwood chairs in the classic Thonet “Lange Jan” style, dating from the mid-20th century.

These chairs are crafted from steam-bent beechwood, a technique made famous by Thonet, resulting in their characteristic uflowing lines and lightweight yet sturdy construction.

The elongated oval backrest with central ring detail gives these chairs their distinctive and timeless appearance.
