The Olympus OM-10 was introduced in 1979 as the very first model of Olympus's two-digit OM series — a consumer-oriented line that brought the compact, lightweight philosophy of the professional OM system within reach of everyday photographers. The OM system was created under the direction of Yoshihisa Maitani, the celebrated designer behind the Olympus PEN, the XA, and the original OM-1, whose vision redefined the 35mm SLR as a small, refined instrument.

The OM-10 inherits that DNA. It is an aperture-priority automatic-exposure camera with an electronically controlled focal-plane shutter (2 to 1/1000 sec) and a center-weighted TTL meter covering ISO 25-1600. It accepts the full range of OM Zuiko lenses and most OM-system accessories. Full manual shutter-speed control is possible by adding the optional Manual Adapter (not included with this item). Using inexpensive adapters, OM-mount lenses can also be mounted on modern mirrorless bodies.

Please note: because the shutter is electronically controlled, a fresh battery is required for the camera to operate correctly.

IMPORTANT — Please read carefully:
There is light haze in the viewfinder. It does not significantly affect focusing or composition in normal use, but please review this description and the photos carefully before bidding. The light meter works perfectly and the camera operates properly.

The light seals have been partially replaced. We recommend a full light-seal replacement in the future for the best results.
