Description from the seller
National Panasonic Multiplex Stereo is an iconic vintage receiver from the 1970s.
Multiplex Stereo is the technique that was revolutionary at the time for decoding a single FM radio signal into two separate audio channels.
This made true stereo playback possible over the airwaves; receivers from that era have a stereo indicator lamp that lights up when a multiplex signal is detected.
A popular model from that era is the RE7412, equipped with a silver-and-black front panel.
Feature of this vintage receiver:
- Beautiful round illuminated tuning scale.
- Connections: RCA or DIN.
- Input: phono or tape.
- Speaker: RCA with adapter plug
- Sound character: a nostalgic tone that perfectly suits radio, vinyl, or tape.
