Table service (9) - Gold plated

Set of nine rare, beautifully gilded Japanese sake cups (sakazuki), traditionally used for festive and auspicious occasions.

Design & Symbolism:
The cups are finely engraved with a traditional image of a crane and a turtle. In Japanese culture these animals symbolize a long life, happiness and prosperity.

Material & Quality:
The cups are made of bronze and completely coated with a high-quality 24-karat gold layer. On the underside of each cup there is the official mark "24KGP" (24 Karat Gold Plated).

Condition:
The set is in good, used condition with light, normal signs of age. Please examine the photos carefully to assess the condition for yourself. This is a fully original, authentic set.
